‘I thought it would be very disrespectful to Chelsea,’ Trump said in one interview with CNN

Donald Trump held back from discussing Bill Clinton’s various sex scandals, including an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, during his Monday night debate performance against Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Speaking to several reporters after the debate, Trump said he was happy with his performance and hinted that he thought it was classy he didn’t outright acknowledge the Clintons’ familial troubles.

‘No, I was very happy that I was able to hold back on the, you know, indiscretions with respect to Bill Clinton because I have a lot of respect for Chelsea Clinton and I just didn’t want to say what I was going to say,’ Trump said, in one interview with CNN.
