Taliban gunmen attack hospital in south Afghanistan

The incident happened on Monday while the two attackers entered the hospital in the country’s provincial city of Kandahar, starting a gun fire and fought with security guards in a regional health center, according to Afghan officials.

One member of the security forces along with the two attackers were killed, report said

Samim Khpalwak, provincial governor spokesman, said “the target of the attack could have been the deputy governor who wanted to visit the hospital.”
